The American Theatre Wing held its annual Spring Gala on Monday, June 1 at Cipriani 42nd Street. The evening's entertainment was provided by "A Tony Trio": Kristin Chenoweth, Audra McDonald, and Barbara Cook.

McDonald, a four-time Tony winner and a presenter at this year's awards on June 7, was accompanied to the gala by Will Swenson, a first-time Tony nominee this year for his role as Berger in the revival of Hair.

Stage and television favorite Neil Patrick Harris will be the host of this year's Tony Awards, which will be held at Radio City Music Hall and aired live on CBS-TV on Sunday, June 7.

Hugh Jackman, a previous Tony Award host, is reportedly set to return to Broadway in two different projects: the play A Steady Rain and the musical Houdini.

Angela Lansbury will be a five-time Tony winner if she picks up the Best Featured Actress in a Play award for her role as Madame Arcati in Blithe Spirit.

Haydn Gwynne and Gregory Jbara are both Tony Award nominees for their roles in Billy Elliot: The Musical.

Constantine Maroulis is a Tony Award nominee for Best Actor in a Musical for his role as wannabe rock star Drew in Rock of Ages.

J. Robert Spencer is a Tony Award nominee for Best Actor in a Musical for his role as Brian in Next to Normal.

Kate Jennings Grant, who plays Sarah Brown in the Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls, was a welcome guest at the ATW gala.

Tovah Feldshuh, who is starring in the title role of the Broadway drama Irena's Vow, attended the gala.

Drew Seeley, who will take over the role of Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid on June 9, was another guest at the ATW gala.

Lucie Arnaz, another of this year's Tony Awards presenters, looked smashing at the gala.
