In the last decade, Kristin Chenoweth has become an iconic star of film, television, and the stage. Her breakaway role was as Sally in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown a role for which she won a Tony Award. She was nominated again for playing Glinda the Good Witch in the Broadway mega-hit Wicked. Chenoweth also performed in the Broadway comedy Epic Proportions, Roundabout's production of The Apple Tree, and in the Kander and Ebb musical Steel Pier, for which she won a Theatre World award. Television fans know her as Annabeth Schott on The West Wing, Olive Snook in Pushing Daisies, and Marian Paroo in the television adaptation of The Music Man opposite Matthew Broderick. Moviegoers have seen her in Deck the Halls with Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick, RV with Robin Williams, Bewitched with Nicole Kidman, Running with Scissors with Annette Bening, and The Pink Panther with Steve Martin. A veteran of the concert scene, Kristin took the stage in a solo sold-out concert at Carnegie Hall in 2004 and continues to tour the country. Chenoweth has had numerous collaborations with various symphonies, including The New York Philharmonic, Boston Pops, National Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Symphony and the San Francisco Symphony. In 2009 she published her first book, A Little Bit Wicked: Life, Love, and Faith in Stages. She is scheduled to have her Metropolitan Opera debut in March 2010 as Samira in John Corigliano's The Ghost of Versailles.
