Daytime Emmy Award winner Darnell Williams will replace Ain Gordon in the role of “Journals” in Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell on Tuesday, June 12. He will join permanent cast members Kathleen Chalfant, Hazelle Goodman, and Frank Wood in this play based on the life and work of the late monologist Spalding Gray.

In addition to those actors, the role of “Career” is played by rotating guest stars. This month’s line-up includes Bones star David Boreanaz (through June 10); Christopher Gorham, who plays Henry Grubstick on the hit ABC sitcom Ugly Betty (June 12-17); and film and television actress Michele Trachtenberg — who co-starred with Boreanaz on Buffy the Vampire Slayer — who will appear June 19-24.

Williams is best known for his role as Jesse Hubbard on the ABC daytime drama All My Children; he also played the role of Jacob Foster on the daytime dramas The City and Loving. He most recently appeared Off-Broadway in Blackout.
