Full Cast Set for Twelfth Night, with Michael Cumpsty, Raul Esparza, Anne Hathaway, Audra McDonald, Julie White

Casting is complete for Daniel Sullivan's Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night, to play the Delacorte Theatre, June 10-July 12, with an opening set for June 25.

As previously announced, the principal cast will feature Herb Foster (Valentine), Kevin Kelly (Sea Captain), Stark Sands (Sebastian), Baylen Thomas (Curio), Jon Patrick Walker (Fabian), and Julie White (Maria) will join the previously announced Michael Cumpsty (Malvolio), Raúl Esparza (Orsino), Anne Hathaway (Viola), Hamish Linklater (Sir Andrew Aguecheek), Audra McDonald (Olivia), David Pittu (Feste) and Jay O. Sanders (Sir Toby Belch).

Charles Borland, Andrew Crowe, Steve Curtis, Christopher Layer, and Robin LeMon will join previously announced ensemble members Clifton Duncan, David Kenner, Leslie Harrison, Slate Holmgren, Dorien Makhloghi, Ray Rizzo, and Zach Villa.

The production will feature scenic design by John Lee Beatty, costume design by Jane Greenwood, lighting design by Peter Kaczorowski, sound design by Acme Sound Partners, fight direction by Rick Sordelet, choreography by Mimi Lieber, and original music by symphonic folk-rock band Hem.

The Public Theater's second Shakespeare in the Park production will be JoAnne Akalitis' production of Euripides' The Bacchae ( August 11-30), headed by Andre de Shields, Jonathan Groff, and Joan MacIntosh. The production will feature a translation by Nicholas Rudall and original music from Philip Glass.

Sullivan won the Tony Award for Proof. His other Broadway credits include The Homecoming, Rabbit Hole, Sight Unseen, and The Sisters Rosensweig. His previous directorial credits for the Public include A Midsummer Night's Dream, Stuff Happens, and The Merry Wives of Windsor.
