James Lapine, Bruce Norris, Stephen Sondheim Among Honorees for Playwrights Horizons Gala

James Lapine, Bruce Norris, Stephen Sondheim, Alfred Uhry, Wendy Wasserstein and Doug Wright will be honored at Playwrights Horizons’ annual spring gala, to be held at 583 Park Avenue on Monday, June 11 beginning at 6:45pm.
Entitled The Highest Standard, the gala will honor the theater’s Pulitzer Prize-winning productions and creators. The evening will consist of songs from Sunday in the Park with George, excerpts from the Pulitzer Prize-winning plays and tributes by those connected to the projects. Participating artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
