Jose Febus, Bryant Mason, Jose Joaquim Perez, Phyllis Johnson, and Alfredo Narciso will be featured in Red Bull's staged reading of The Steward of the Duchess of Amalfi, to be presented at the Theater at St. Clement's on Monday, March 15 at 7:30pm. Michael John Garces will direct.

Lope de Vega's play, translated by Álvaro Mendoza, is a lyrical, haunting tragedy of tortured desire, class conflict and revenge -- written around the same time as John Webster's Duchess of Malfi, which Red Bull is currently presenting in a full production.

Following the reading, there will be a post-play "Bull Session" with Gabriela Carrion, Professor of Spanish, Bard College and Edmund Miller, Chair, English Department, C.W.Post Campus, LIU.
