No More Hairspray!

Harvey Fierstein, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Kerry Butler, Jackie Hoffman, Chester Gregory, Linda Hart, Leslie Kritzer, Aubrey O'Day, George Wendt and more stars come together for the last show of the long-running Broadway musical.

On Sunday, January 4, one of Broadway's longest-running musicals, Hairspray, closed at the Neil Simon Theatre after a nearly six-and-a-half year run. Here's Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein, the first and final Edna Turnblad, taking his curtain call.

Tony winner Marissa Jaret Winokur, who originated the role of Tracy Turnblad, returned to play the role for the final weeks of the Broadway run.

Clarke Thorell was the show's first and last Corny Collins.

Many of the show's celebrated alumni came back to attend the final performance, including the very popular Kerry Butler.

Jackie Hoffman, who delighted audiences in a variety of female roles, is now making them laugh with her Scraping the Bottom CD and show at Joe's Pub.

Linda Hart, the original Amber Von Tussle, caught up with a now-pregnant Jenn Gambatese, who took over the role of Penny Pingleton.

The hilarious Leslie Kritzer played Shelly, one of the "nicest kids in town."

George Wendt -- soon to star in the new musical Minsky's in Los Angeles -- was one of the show's beloved Edna Turnblads.

The very funny Paul Vogt played Edna on Broadway, in Las Vegas, and in many national productions of the show.

Shannon Durig was a fan favorite for her portrayal of Tracy.

The irrepressible Carly Jibson was another popular portrayer of Tracy.

Chester Gregory -- who co-starred with Jibson in Broadway's Cry-Baby -- was a huge hit playing Seaweed Stubbs.

Here are former Hairpsray stars Julie Halston and John Hill.

Pop star Aubrey O'Day had a successful run as Amber Von Tussle.

Finally, here are choreographer Jerry Mitchell, director Jack O'Brien, and set designer David Rockwell.
