Guthrie Announces Cast for Adam Rapp’s The Edge of Our Bodies

The Guthrie Theater has announced complete casting for Adam Rapp’s The Edge of Our Bodies, to begin previews October 22 with an opening on October 26. Benjamin McGovern will direct.

The Edge of Our Bodies follows 16-year-old Bernadette as she journeys to New York City, intimately sharing her encounters along the way. Ali Rose Dachis, previously seen in the Guthrie’s production of Circle Mirror Transformation will star as Bernadette with Steve Sweere, most recently seen in the Guthrie’s A Streetcar Named Desire as the Maintenance Man.

Rapp’s numerous plays also include Dreams of Flying Dreams of Falling, currently making its world premiere in New York, as well as The Hallway Trilogy, Nocture, Faster, Finer Noble Gases, Stone Cold Dead Serious, Blackbird, Essential Self-Defense, American Sligo, Kindness, and Red Light Winter, which was named a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
