The show stars Broadway veteran Laura Linney as Cathy, a woman who reclaims her life after a terminal cancer diagnosis.

The series also stars Tony Award winner John Benjamin Hickey, stage veteran Oliver Platt, Oscar nominee Gabourey Sidibe, and Gabriel Basso.

The show, which is filmed in Connecticut, has also used numerous theater veterans as guest stars, including Alan Alda, Laura Benanti, Tammy Blanchard, Michael Chernus, Hugh Dancy, Victor Garber, Mamie Gummer, Brian d'Arcy James, Allison Janney, Cynthia Nixon, and Susan Sarandon.
