London’s Blood Brothers to Close on October 27

The long-running London revival of Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers will conclude its 24-year run at the Phoenix Theatre on October 27, according to published reports.

The musical, which is directed by Bob Thomson and Bill Kenwright, tells the story of twin brothers who are reunited after being separated at birth by a twist of fate and a mother’s haunting secret.

The current production of Blood Brothers opened in 1988 at the Albery Theatre before transferring to the Phoenix in 1991. It has played more than 10,000 performances.
