Caroline O’Connor will star as Dolly Levi in the Curve Theatre, Leicester’s production of Hello, Dolly!, to run November 30-January 12, according to published reports. The production will be directed by Paul Kerryson.
The musical features a score by Jerry Herman and a book by Michael Stewart, and is based on the Thornton Wilder play The Matchmaker. Additional casting will be announced.
O’Connor’s credits include Gypsy, Mack and Mabel, On the Town, Chicago, and Sweeney Todd, among many others.
Hello, Dolly! will feature choreography by David Needham and designs by Sara Perks.
