Lost Musicals to Offer Paris, Day Before Spring, Darling of the Day in 2010

London’s Lost Musicals concert series has announced the three musicals it will present during its 2010 London season. Ian Marshall Fisher will direct the pieces.

The season’s first two offerings will be performed at the Lilian Baylis Theatre, Sadler’s Wells. The company will begin with Paris (March 28-April 25), which features music and lyrics by Cole Porter and a book by Martin Brown. The second offering will be Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe’s The Day Before Spring (June 13-27).

The third Lost Musicals offering will be Darling of the Day (August 22-September 19), which features music by Jule Styne, lyrics by “Yip” Harburg, and a book by Nunnally Johnson and will be performed at the National Portrait Gallery Ondaatje Theatre, from August 22.
