Victor Williams, Jesse J. Perez to Head Shakespeare on the Sound's Othello

Victor Williams and Jesse J. Perez will star as Othello and Iago, respectively, in Shakespeare on the Sound's production of Othello, to play Pinkney Park, Rowayton June 15 - 26, and Baldwin Park, Greenwich July 2 - 11.

As previously announced, Tony Award winner Stew will compose songs and music for the production. Joanna Settle will direct the site-specific production, which will feature scenic design by Andrew Lieberman. Settle, Stew, and Lieberman collaborated earlier this year with the company's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. The songs Stew created for the production were subsequently released on CD.

Perez played Puck in that production, while Williams is best known for his role as Deacon Palmer in the TV series The King of Queens. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.
