Emma Barton will play Roxie Hart in the West End production of Chicago, running at the Cambridge Theatre in Covent Garden, beginning on April 26. The actress previously played the role in a U.K. tour of the musical.

Barton's other stage credits include The Secret Garden and Grease. She may be best known for her portrayal of Honey Mitchell on the television show EastEnders.

With music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb and a book by Ebb and Bob Fosse, Chicago has been directed by Walter Bobbie and features choreography by Ann Reinking. The company also features Vivien Carter (Velma Kelly), Terence Maynard (Billy Flynn), and Adam Stafford (Amos Hart).
