Cindy Williams to Star in National Tour of Nunset Boulevard

Cindy Williams will star as Mother Superior in the national tour of Dan Goggin’s Nunset Boulevard, which will launch during the 2012-2013 season. Additional casting and a complete schedule will be announced in the near future.

Williams, perhaps best known for her work on television’s Laverne and Shirley, appeared on Broadway in The Drowsy Chaperone. Among her other stage credits are Nunsense, in which she also played Mother Superior, and, most recently, The Odd Couple (Female Version), opposite JoAnne Worley.

In Nunset Boulevard, The Little Sisters of Hoboken have been invited to sing at the Hollywood Bowl. They are thrilled at the prospect until they arrive and realize they’re booked into the Hollywood Bowl-erama — a bowling alley with a cabaret lounge.
