Michael Kahn is set to offer a Master Class in the company’s Lansburgh Theatre on July 15 at 7:00 pm.

The evening will commence with a question-and-answer period with Kahn. Audience members may ask Kahn about his philosophy of Shakespeare and education, after which he will workshop classical monologues and scenes performed by students in STC’s Master Acting Class program.

The long-time artistic director of the DC’s Shakespeare Theatre Company, Kahn’s directorial credits include Much Ado About Nothing, The Doctor’s Dilemma, Hamlet, Mother Courage and Her Children, Mourning Becomes Electra, Sweet Bird of Youth, and The Oedipus Plays.
