Rob McClure, Erin Dilly, and More to Join Heather Headley in Into the Woods
The cast of the production at the Muny will also include Ken Page, Andrew Samonsky, Ryan Silverman, and others.
The Muny, St. Louis' outdoor musical theater venue, has announced the starry cast set to join the previously announced Heather Headley in its upcoming production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Into The Woods. Gary Griffin will direct the production, which will run July 21-27.
In addition to Tony and Grammy winner Headley as the Witch, newly announced cast members include Broadway veterans Erin Dilly (A Christmas Story) as the Baker's Wife, Rob McClure (Honeymoon in Vegas) as the Baker, Ken Page (Cats) as the Narrator, Jason Gotay (Bring It On: The Musical) as Jack, Ellen Harvey (The Phantom of the Opera) as Cinderella's Stepmother, Sara Kapner (Hollywood Arms) as Little Red Ridinghood, Samantha Massell (La Boheme) as Rapunzel, Michael McCormick (Chaplin) as Mysterious Man/Cinderella's Father, Andrew Samonsky (The Hunchback of Notre Dame) as Cinderella's Prince/Wolf, and Ryan Silverman (Side Show) as Rapunzel's Prince, along with Zoe Vonder Haar as Jack's Mother, Anna Blair as Granny/Cinderella's Stepmother, Jennifer Diamond as Florinda, Gary Glasgow as Steward, Maggie Lakis as Milky White, and April Strelinger as Lucinda.
The production, which marks the Muny premiere of Into the Woods, is choreographed by Chris Bailey with music direction by Brad Haak, scenic design by Michael Schweikardt, costume design by Andrea Lauer, lighting design by Rob Denton, sound design by John Shivers and Hugh Sweeney, and video design by Matthew Young.
