Lovers and Other Strangers

About the Show

Lovers and Other Strangers offers a series of five vignettes about the superiority of women, written by comic masterminds Reneé Taylor and Joseph Bologna. Critics had a hard time figuring out which sketch was funniest: a young man trying to seduce a lady only to have the tables turned on him, a married couple who can’t figure out how to make love, a mistress locking herself in a bathroom, a fiancé unable to go through with wedding plans, or a couple of thirty years trying to save their son’s marriage by confessing their own failings. “A lot of smiles as well as genuine belly laughs,” raved The New York Times.
