The season will continue at Lowndes Shakespeare Center’s Mandell Theatre, which will play host to American Alphabet, Lisa Cordes’ exploration of her family tree and race and sex in America, from her slave-owning great-great-grandfather through the election of Barack Obama. The production will run January 17-20.
Next up is Biloxi Blues by Neil Simon, directed by Rob Anderson, running February 8-24 at the Garden Theatre. The Garden Theatre will also house Marshall’s production of Mark Medoff’s Children of a Lesser God, from March 15-31.
Additionally, a touring season featuring original shows by Paul Strickland, as well as two new original works, will be announced at a later date.
