David Rossmer and Steve Rosen's musical comedy The Other Josh Cohen has announced an extension for its off-Broadway run at the Westside Theatre. The production will now run through April 28, nine weeks beyond the limited engagement's original end date of February 24.

Directed by Tony nominee Hunter Foster, The Other Josh Cohen features a book, music, and lyrics by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen, who star in the title roles alongside Kate Wetherhead (Legally Blonde), Hannah Elless (Bright Star), Elizabeth Nestlerode (Once tour), Luke Darnell (Million Dollar Quartet Vegas), Louis Tucci (Buddy), and Zach Spound (Cruel Intentions: The Musical).

The Other Josh Cohen is described as follows: "From the moment audiences enter the Westside Theatre, they are immersed in the quirky world of Josh Cohen's New York City apartment… as it is getting robbed. Thus begins the hilarious rock-and-roll romantic comedy about good-guy-Josh, caught in a lifelong battle with bad luck. Broke and alone, all hope seems lost – until a mysterious letter arrives that changes his life forever. Leading a cast of extraordinary actor-musicians who play as many parts as they do instruments, David Rossmer and Steve Rosen both star as the hapless-yet-warmhearted title character – one eventful year apart – in a 90-minute life-changing laughfest for the whole family that will leave you feeling better about the world."

The musical returns to the off-Broadway stage following its initial mounting at the SoHo Playhouse in 2012, where it received six Drama Desk Award nominations and the Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical.
