Raúl Esparza to Star in The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui at Classic Stage Company

Four-time Tony nominee Raúl Esparza will reunite with Company director John Doyle in Classic Stage Company's upcoming production of Bertolt Brecht's The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui.
Esparza will take on the title role, a Chicago mobster who, with the help of his henchmen, manipulates and murders his way to totalitarian rule of the cauliflower trade. The run is scheduled for October 30-December 22.
Classic Stage Company has also announced that Shariffa Ali will direct Yaël Farber's Mies Julie, an adaptation of Strindberg's Miss Julie, beginning performances January 15; and Tony winner Victoria Clark will direct Strindberg's The Dance of Death, beginning performances January 17.
