Lindsay Posner directs the production, starring Perry and Jennifer Morrison.
MCC Theater's production of Matthew Perry's The End of Longing is currently in previews at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. Opening night for the production is set for June 5, and, as previously announced, performances have been extended through July 1. Lindsay Posner directs.
Perry, who makes his New York stage acting and playwriting debut, stars alongside Jennifer Morrison, Quincy Dunn-Baker, and Sue Jean Kim.
The play, which premiered last year at London's Playhouse Theatre on the West End, is described as follows: "An alcoholic, an escort, a self-diagnosed neurotic, and a well-intentioned dimwit walk into a bar. Broken and deeply flawed, they find their lives irreversibly entwined no matter how hard they try to break free of one another."
The production has scenic design by Derek McLane, costume design by Sarah Laux, lighting design by Ben Stanton, and sound design by Ryan Rumery.
