The album, produced by Duncan Sheik and Kurt Deutsch, with Craig Balsam and Cody Lassen serving as executive producers, is being recorded March 24 and 25. The show's current New York premiere production from MCC Theater was recently extended through April 7.

When the ailing Alfred is quarantined, Alice encourages him to escape with her into their cherished book and journey down the rabbit hole to Wonderland."

The creative team includes Edward Pierce (scenic design), Paloma Young (costume design), Bradley King (lighting design), Dan Moses Schreier (sound design), and J. Jared Janas (hair, wig, and makeup design), with orchestrations by Sheik, additional orchestrations by Simon Hale, and music direction and vocal arrangements by Jason Hart.
