With Robert De Niro at the Helm, Chazz Palminteri's A Bronx Tale Is Told in Song

Paper Mill Playhouse has released the first video footage of A Bronx Tale, a new musical from Oscar winner Alan Menken, Tony nominee Glenn Slater, and Oscar nominee Chazz Palminteri.

Based on Palminteri's acclaimed one-man show and subsequent 1993 film, A Bronx Tale is set against the backdrop of racial strife and organized crime in the 1960s as an Italian-American teenager must choose between the father who raised him and the mob-boss father figure who fascinates him. Codirected by Tony winner Jerry Zaks and Oscar winner Robert De Niro, the production stars Tony nominee Nick Cordero, Jason Gotay, Joshua Colley, Richard H. Blake, Coco Jones, and Lucia Gianetta.
