Will Burton and Will Blum to Join Kara Lindsay in Mary Poppins

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced additional casting and the creative team for Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins. Running November 18-January 3, 2027, with an opening night on November 22, the production opens Paper Mill’s upcoming 88th season in Millburn, New Jersey.

As previously announced, Kara Lindsay will lead the cast as Mary Poppins. Joining her are Will Burton as Bert, Will Blum as George Banks, Ashley Blanchet as Winifred Banks, Dierdre Friel as Mrs. Brill, and Alvin Crawford as Admiral Boom/Bank Chairman. Complete casting will be announced at a later date.

Directed by Paper Mill producing artistic director Mark S. Hoebee and choreographed by Denis Jones, the production includes music direction by Ben McNaboe, scenic design by Timothy Mackabee, costume design by Leon Dobkowski, lighting design by Charlie Morrison, sound design by Don Hanna, scenic coordination and additional design by Kelly James Tighe, and wig, hair, and makeup design by J. Jared Janas.

Based on the stories of P.L. Travers and the 1964 Walt Disney film, Mary Poppins features a book by Julian Fellowes, original music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, and new songs and additional music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.
