Wicked to Kick Off Smith Center for the Performing Arts Broadway Subscription Series

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts is set to present the Las Vegas premiere of Wicked, August 29-October 7, to kick off its 2012-2013 Broadway-subscription series.

With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by Winnie Holzman, Wicked tells the story of two girls meet in the land of Oz, long before Dorothy.

Wicked features set design by Eugene Lee, costume design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, and sound design by Tony Meola.
