Watch the First Trailer for Stephen Karam's Speech & Debate Film

The trailer is out for the new film adaptation of Stephen Karam's Speech & Debate. Directed by Dan Harris, and starring Sarah Steele (The Humans), Liam James (Psych), and Austin P. McKenzie (Deaf West's Spring Awakening), the movie follows three high school misfits linked by a scandal involving one of their teachers, who revive their school's long-defunct speech and debate society. With cameos by Broadway favorites Lin-Manuel Miranda, Kristin Chenoweth, and Darren Criss, Speech & Debate hits theaters, iTunes, and VOD on April 7. Check out the first footage below.
