Over the summer, the Shakespeare’s Globe productions that will reach the screen are Henry IV, Part 1 (August 1), Henry IV, Part 2 (August 18), and Henry VIII (September 15). All of the productions were captured on video during their runs at the theater in during 2010.
In addition to the performance, the screenings will include a special 20-minute historical perspective on the Globe, the reconstruction process, the work of the Globe today, and a behind-the-scenes look at each production with interviews from the actors and creative team involved.
