
The venues which will host screenings of Shakespeare’s Henry IV, Part 1 on August 1 as part of the previously reported Shakespeare’s Globe London Cinema Series, have been announced.
In Manhattan, moviegoers will be able to view Shakespeare’s history play at Chelsea Cinemas, First and 62nd Cinemas, and the Union Square Stadium 14, among others. Other Tri-State venues include the AMC Garden State 16 in Paramus, NJ, the Ritz Center 16 in Voorhees, NJ, and the Connecticut Post 14 in Milford, CT. Henry IV, Part 1 focuses on the period in the title monarch’s reign as he fights against rebels disputing his right to the crown. Directed by Dominic Dromgoole, the company features Roger Allam (Sir John Falstaff), Oliver Cotton (King Henry IV), Sam Crane (Hotspur), and Jamie Parker (Prince Hal).
