Michele Pawk re-created her Tony-winning performance in Carrie Hamilton and Carol Burnett's Hollywood Arms during a reading of the play on September 21 at Merkin Concert Hall. The evening, directed by Mark Brokaw, was presented by Sundance Institute in collaboration with Kaufman Music Center.

Joining Pawk (as Louise) were Tony winner Tyne Daly (It Shoulda Been You) as Nanny, Fun Home stars Emily Skeggs and Sydney Lucas as Older and Younger Helen, Anthony Edwards (E.R.) as Jody, Cotter Smith (Next Fall) as Bill, Jenny Jules as Dixie, Caleb McLaughlin as Malcolm, Hubert Point-Du Jour as Cop #1, Will Pullen as Cop #2, and Izzy Hanson-Johnston as Alice. Erik Liberman read stage directions and Ben Wexler served as accompanist.

Based on Burnett’s bestselling memoir One More Time, Hollywood Arms tells the story of three generations of fiercely determined women living on welfare in a one-room Hollywood apartment. The original production, at Broadway's Cort Theatre, ran 28 previews and 76 performances from October 7, 2002-January 5, 2003, in a production directed by Harold Prince. It was developed at the Sundance Theatre Lab in 1998 before having its world premiere in 2002 at Chicago's Goodman Theatre.
