Take a look at the star-studded opening night photos from the world premiere of Terrence McNally’s newest offering.
Four-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally (
Ragtime) opened the world premiere of his new play,
Mothers and Sons, on Friday, June 14 at
Bucks County Playhouse.
Mothers and Sons follows a mother whose son has died from AIDS and his partner at the time of his death. The two reunite for the first time in years, leading us to questions about the state of society and its need for healing.
Tony Award nominee Sheryl Kaller directs a cast that includes Tony Award-winning actress Tyne Daly (Master Class) as well as Tony Award nominees Manoel Felciano (Sweeney Todd) and Bobby Steggert (Ragtime). Joining the cast on opening night were recent Tony Award-winning playwright Christopher Durang, Broadway producer Jed Bernstein, and many more.
