Tuck Everlasting features a book by Tony Award nominee Claudia Shear (Dirty Blonde), music by Chris Miller, and lyrics by Nathan Tysen. It is inspired by Natalie Babbitt's beloved young adult novel of the same name, which was first published in 1975, and has remained in print ever since. The story follows 10-year-old Winnie Foster who meets young Jesse Tuck and discovers a secret spring that grants eternal life to whoever drinks its water.

Tuck Everlasting had its world premiere at Georgia's Alliance Theatre in early 2015 after being postponed from a Boston run in the summer of 2013. The Alliance cast was led by Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Ever After) as Jesse Tuck and Tony nominee Terrence Mann (Pippin) as Man in the Yellow Suit, alongside Carolee Carmello (Finding Neverland), and Michael Park (How to Succeed…), with 10-year-old Sarah Charles Lewis took on the role of Winnie Foster. Casting for the Broadway mounting will be announced at a later date.

The musical features scenic design by Walt Spangler, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, sound design by Brian Ronan, orchestrations by John Clancy, and musical supervision by Rob Berman.
