Trudie Styler will take part in a master class, open rehearsal session of Thomas Kilroy’s adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull, to be offered April 23 – May 11 at Culture Project. Max Stafford-Clark is directing the project.
Styler has appeared opposite her husband, Sting, in Twin Spirits and her television acting credits include Midsomer Murders, Love Soup, and Friends.
Kilroy’s version of the classic play resets the action in Ireland in the late nineteenth century. The play focuses on a distinguished actress and her passionate, lonely son. The cast will also feature Mickey Sumner, Styler and Sting’s daughter, and actress and playwright Stella Feehily, wife of director Stafford-Clark.
Each session, offered Monday through Friday at 12pm, 2:15pm and 3:45pm, will last 75 minutes, be limited to 20 people. A question and answer session with Stafford-Clark will follow the final session each day.
