Kate Hamill's adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Pejudice will kick off the season October 4-November 4, featuring Rebecca Gibel as Elizabeth Bennett and Janice Duclos as Mrs. Bennett. Following that will be A Christmas Carol, a holiday tradition now in its 41st year, with Mark Valdez directing and Stephen Thorne playing Scrooge.

Marcus Gardley's Black Odyssey will make its East Coast premiere at the start of the new year, January 3-February 3, starring Joe Wilson Jr. The play is described as "an epic and glorious reimagining of Homer's classic poem that combines Greek mythology and African-American history of the last fifty years."

The world premiere of a new play by Lauren Yee, The Song of Summer, is next, March 14-April 14. The play will star Charlie Thurston as Robbie, "a pop icon who abandons his concert tour to return to his hometown where he will make discoveries that change his career and life," according to a press release. Anne Scurria will also star.

Following that is Little Shop of Horrors April 11-May 12, with Jude Sandy as Seymour and Daniel Duque-Estrada as Orin, the dentist. Finally, the season will close with Jose Rivera's Obie Award-winning 1992 play Marisol, May 16-June 16, which stars Angela Brazil as June "during the fantastical and surreal story where Marisol Perez wakes up to find her reality displaced by the effect of a war between God and the angels," according to a press release.
