Tony Award nominee Tsidii Le Loka will perform a concert, entitled To a Rising Sun, at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center, May 1 and 2 at 8 pm.
The concert will feature the music of artistis including Nina Simone, Miriam Makeba, Odetta Holmes, and Bob Dylan. Le Loka originated the role of Rafiki in Broadway’s The Lion King, for which she received a Tony nomination and a Drama Desk Award.
