The new Atlantic Theater Company drama is directed by Neil Pepe.
Emmy nominee Timothy Olyphant (Justified) returns to the stage later this month in Hold On to Me Darling, a new play from Oscar nominee Kenneth Lonergan. The Atlantic Theater Company production, under the direction of Neil Pepe, runs from February 24-April 3. Opening night is set for March 14.
Olyphant plays Strings McCrane, a country and western star who begins questioning the meaning of his life upon learning of his mother's death. Determined to abandon his celebrity and career, he moves back to his hometown in Tennessee. It doesn't go well.
The company also includes (in alphabetical order) Adelaide Clemens (The Great Gatsby), Tony nominee Jonathan Hogan (As Is), Jenn Lyon (Fish in the Dark), Keith Nobbs (The Legend of Georgia McBride), and C.J. Wilson (Bronx Bombers).
Hold On to Me Darling features scenic design by Walt Spangler, costume design by Suttirat Larlarb, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt, and sound design by David Van Tieghem.
