Additional casting has been announced for New York Stage and Film and Vassar College’s 2012 Powerhouse Theater season.
Joining the previously announced Chloe Sevigny in Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa’s Abigal/1702 are Patrick Heusinger (John Brown), Paxton Whitehead (Judge/Rev. Parris/Man in Gray), and
Laila Robins (Elizabeth/Margaret Hale). David Esbjornson directs the work, which takes place a decade after the events in Arthur Miller’s The Crucible.
Santino Fontana, Kyle Beltran, Andre De Shields, John Ellison Conlee, and Rebecca Naomi Jones will appear in Itamar Moses and Michael Friedman’s The Fortress of Solitude, based on Jonathan Lethem’s novel, adapted and directed by Daniel Aukin.
Tim Daly, Dana Delany, Seth Gilliam, LaChanze, and Jon Tenney will appear in the free Readings Festival 1, running June 22-24). The festival will feature readings of Wendy and the Lost Boys, a screenplay by Jon Robin Baitz and Michael Hoffman, and Deborah Rennard’s For Worse.
Casting for additional productions will be announced in the weeks to come.
