The Steppenwolf Theatre production of Kenneth Lonergan’s This Is Our Youth has announced a rush ticket policy that will launch when the show begins previews at the Cort Theatre on August 18. Anna D. Shapiro directs the revival, which begins performances August 18 in advance of a September 11 opening. Kieran Culkin, Michael Cera, and Tavi Gevinson make their Broadway debuts in the dark comedy.
A limited number of rush tickets will be available for theatregoers aged 30 and under on the day of the performance at the box office of the Cort Theatre. The $35 rush tickets will be limited to two per person with valid photo ID and be made available during box office hours.
Set in New York in 1982, This Is Our Youth follows three lost souls over the course of 48 hours. Cera will play Warren, a dejected 19-year-old who has just stolen $15,000 from his abusive father. Culkin will play his drug-dealing friend, Dennis, who helps him put the money to good use, and Gevinson will take on the role of Warren's love interest, Jessica.
