Taylor stars in her new solo show at off-Broadway’s Theatre at St. Clement’s.
Emmy winner Renée Taylor (The Nanny) celebrated her opening night in the autobiographical comedy My Life on a Diet on Wednesday, July 25, at the Theatre at St. Clement's.
Taylor's Broadway credits include Luv, Agatha Sue, I Love You, and her and Bologna's plays Lovers and Other Strangers, It Had to Be You, and If You Ever Leave Me…I'm Going With You! Onscreen, she's best known for her performance as Sylvia Fine in The Nanny, as well as her performance as Eva Braun in the original 1968 version of The Producers. She and Bologna received an Emmy for their television special Acts of Love and Other Comedies.
Presented by Julian Schlossberg, My Life on a Diet has set design by Harry Feiner, lighting design by Stefanie Risk, and sound design by Jay Risk. The run will conclude on August 19.
