Leigh Silverman directs the world premiere of this brand-new play.
Pulitzer Prize finalist Tanya Barfield's new play, Bright Half Life, celebrated its opening night at New York City Center – Stage II. The Women's Project Theater production, directed by Tony nominee Leigh Silverman, is described as "a kaleidoscopic new play about love, skydiving and the infinite moments that make a life together."
Rebecca Henderson and Rachael Holmes costar as the production's central characters Erika and Vicky. The show marks the third collaboration between Barfield and Silverman, having previously worked together on the Playwrights Horizons-Primary Stages coproduction of The Call and Barfield's 2007 Pulitzer Prize-nominated Blue Door.
The creative team for Bright Half Life includes set designer Rachel Hauck, costume designer Emily Rebholz, lighting designer Jen Schriever, and sound designer Bart Fasbender.
