Talent Agent Fifi Oscard Dies at 85

Fifi Oscard, a highly respected talent agent whose clients included Orson Welles, Jack Palance, and Margaret Edson’s award-winning play Wit, died suddenly on November 12 at the age of 85.

She founded the Fifi Oscard Agency, which had branches in New York, London, and Hollywood, in 1959. Prior to that, she was associated with the Olga Lee-Stephen Draper Agency and Lucille A. Phillips. In 2002, Oscard received a Lifetime Acheivement Award from the League of Professional Women for her contributions to the Amercian theater.

She is survived by her son, Eric Steinmetz, and his wife Sylvie, and six grandchildren.
