For the first time ever, Bill Yosses, the official pie maker for the immersive Tooting Arts Club production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at Barrow Street Theatre, will serve cake in the pie shop.

To celebrate Valentine's Day (February 13-18), Yosses will serve the "Angels Below, Devils Above" cake, which the chef describes as "a dark chocolate devil meets a vanilla angel in this combo layer cake. The Valrhona chocolate ganache and Madagascar vanilla cream filling come together with a light raspberry glaze, which brings a fruity acidity to this seductive duo." This cake will be made available for two for an additional $50.

Sweeney Todd currently stars Hugh Panaro (Sweeney Todd), Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello (Mrs. Lovett), Stacie Bono (Pirelli & Beggar Woman), Jake Boyd (Anthony), Eryn LeCroy (Johanna), Michael James Leslie (Judge Turpin), John-Michael Lyles (Tobias), and John Rapson (the Beadle). Starting February 27, Thom Sesma (Sweeney Todd), Sally Ann Triplett (Mrs. Lovett), Zachary Noah Piser (Tobias), Billy Harrigan Tighe (Anthony), and DeLaney Westfall (Johanna) will join the company. The cast also includes Matt Leisy, Liz Pearce, Danny Rothman, and Monet Sabel.

This production of Sweeney Todd comes to Manhattan following sold-out runs in London, where the show debuted in Harrington's Pie and Mash Shop, the oldest continuously operating pie shop in Britain. Directed by Bill Buckhurst, the musical is set in a working pie-shop environment re-created at the Barrow Street Theatre.
