Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie will lend their voice skills to Kim Burdom’s CG animated movie adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s The Canterville Ghost, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Keiron Self and Giles New have penned the script.
Fry will voice the title character, Sir Simon de Canterville, a 300-yearold ghost, while Laurie will play his nemesis, a lowly gardener who is revealed to be Death himself.
The pair performed many years as a well-known comedy duo in England. Fry’s many stage credits include Twelfth Night and Howl’s Moving Castle. Laurie is best known for playing the title role on FOX’s acclaimed drama series House.
