Signature Theatre’s Golden Child Extends Through December 9

Signature Theatre has announced that its production of Golden Child by David Henry Hwang, which was originally scheduled to run October 23-December 2, has received a one week extension and will now play through December 9. Leigh Silverman will direct.

In Golden Child, a Chinese businessman sets off a dangerous power struggle in his polygamous Chinese household after three years of working abroad.

As previously announced, the cast will feature Tina Chilip (Servant / Ghost), Nadia Gan (Servant / Ghost), Lesley Hu (Eng Eling / third wife), Jennifer Lim (Eng Luan / second wife), Matthew Maher (Reverend Baines), Annie Q (Eng Ahn), Julyana Soelistyo (Eng Siu-Young / first wife), and Greg Watanabe (Grandson / Eng Tieng Bin).

The design team will include Neil Patel (set design), Anita Yavich (costume design), Matt Frey (lighting design), Darron L West (sound design), Darrel Maloney (projection design), and Tom Watson (hair and wig design).
