Side Show's Lauren Elder Will Take Part in Inspired 6 Benefit

Inspired 6, a concert benefiting BadAss Brooklyn Animal Rescue and Pet Rescue NY, will take place on February 23 at 7pm at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Lauren Elder, late of Broadway's Side Show, is set to participate alongside Bobby Cronin, Brian Feinstein, Daniel Lincoln, Alexander Sage Oyen, and Danielle Trzcinski.

Inspired is a benefit-concert series for animal rescue organizations across the country, with a rotating lineup of some of today's exciting musical-theater writers performing songs by other writers who have inspired their work.

Created and hosted by composer Bobby Cronin, the Inspired series aims to spread the word about the 2.7 million adoptable animals that are euthanized each year in America. Now in its second year, the series has raised funds for 10 shelters in the U.S. (and recently in London) and given voice to over 30 musical-theater writers.
