That Tap Dance Show Will Premiere Off-Broadway This Month

Masterworks Theater Company and Measuring Time Dance Collective will present That Tap Dance Show, a percussive journey through time celebrating the history of the art form, from the villages of West Africa to the streets of New York City.

It will run at Theater555 November 28-January 3, 2027, with an opening night scheduled for December 10.

Intended for audiences of all ages, That Tap Dance Show concludes with the full audience participating a capella rhythms for a final celebration of tap dance.

The cast includes Emma Butensky, Warren Curtis, Hudson James Esch, Shelby Kaufman, Mary Luyster, Adante Power, and Tamii Sakurai.
