Tony winner Jason Robert Brown's sheet music for Broadway's The Bridges of Madison County is now available for digital download via SheetMusicDirect.com. According to Brown's website, he personally edited all of the available music for solo performance, "with new shiny piano arrangements…created just for this folio."
Starring Kelli O'Hara, who received her fifth Tony Award nomination for her performance, and Steven Pasquale, The Bridges of Madison County is based on the bestselling novel by Robert James Waller. It opened at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on February 20 and played a total of 100 performances before closing on May 18. Directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, the musical featured a score by three-time Tony winner Jason Robert Brown and a book by Pulitzer Prize winner Marsha Norman.
The Broadway production was the recipient of four Tony Award nominations, including Best Actress in a Musical and Best Original Score, nine Drama Desk Award nominations, including Best New Musical, and two Outer Critics Circle Award nominations.
