Roundabout Theatre Company has released photos from its Broadway revival of Kiss Me, Kate, opening March 14 at Studio 54.
Recipient of the first-ever Tony Award for Best Musical in 1949, Kiss Me, Kate features a book by Sam and Bella Spewack, music and lyrics by Cole Porter, direction by eight-time Tony nominee and Roundabout's associate artistic director Scott Ellis, choreography by Tony winner Warren Carlyle, and music direction by Paul Gemignani.
The new Roundabout cast is led by Tony winner Kelli O'Hara (The King and I) as Kate and Lilli Vanessi, and Tony nominee Will Chase (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) as Petruchio and Fred Graham, alongside Corbin Bleu (Holiday Inn) as Lucentio and Bill Calhoun, Terence Archie (Rocky) as Harrison Howell, Mel Johnson Jr. (Jekyll & Hyde) as Harry Trevor and Baptista, Stephanie Styles (Newsies national tour) as Lois Lane and Bianca, Adrienne Walker (The Lion King) as Hattie, Lance Coadie Williams (Sweat) as Gangster (Second Man), and John Pankow (Cymbeline) as Gangster (First Man).
