The Echo Theater Company's Los Angeles premiere of Sarah DeLappe's The Wolves begins its run at Atwater Village Theatre. Pay-what-you-want previews start tonight. The production officially opens on March 16 and will run through April 22.

Alana Dietze directs Katherine Cronyn, Minzi, Ellen Neary, Troy Leigh-Anne Johnson, Jacqueline Besson, Donna Zadeh, Makeda Declet, Caitlin Zambito, Connor Kelly-Eiding, and Alison Martin in the production.

The creative team includes Amanda Knehans (set designer), Rose Malone (lighting designer), Jeff Gardner (sound designer), Elena Flores (costume designer), and Christopher Komuro (graphic designer), with Anna Klevit production stage manager. Chris Fields and Rachael Zambias are producers.

The Wolves is described as follows: "Left quad. Right quad. Lunge. A girls' indoor soccer team warms up. From the safety of their suburban stretch circle, the team navigates big questions and wages tiny battles with all the vigor of a pack of adolescent warriors."
