Due to popular demand, Ruthless! The Musical returns to off-Broadway's Stage 72 at The Triad for an extended run following nine sold-out performances benefitting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Performances will begin Thursday, October 23. Joel Paley directs.

Featuring a book and lyrics by Paley and music by Marvin Laird, the show famously spoofs Broadway musicals such as Gypsy and Mame, as well as classic films including The Bad Seed and All About Eve.

Laird returns to the production as Sylvia St. Croix, an overbearing agent who encourages the maniacal character of Tina Denmark to pursue stardom. The cast also includes Kim Maresca, Tori Murray, Katie Sparer, Delaney Arizala, and Rita McKenzie.

Sophia Anne Caruso, who performed the role of Tina Denmark in the September run of Ruthless! at Stage 72, will not return to the cast due to her upcoming role in the Kennedy Center world premiere of Little Dancer.
